This is a project for a client friend who bought a piece of land that sits in between views of the mountain and the sea. We designed the house to be long and elegant to enable the key spaces in it to experience both of these views at the same time. UBU was tasked to build the shell of the unit and the client finished it off (and did so brilliantly). It was not an easy project due to the extraordinary wind that Betty's Bay experiences but also because of a fire that swept through the village in early 2019.
